Church of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ in Wrzosowa

The Church of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ is a parish church in Wrzosowa in Częstochowa County. It stands by national road no. 1 and belongs to a parish with the same dedication.

Construction and blessing

The church was built in 1974-1978 to a design by the architects Stanisław Kwaśniewicz and Marian Ficenes. It was blessed on 15 October 1978 by the Bishop of Częstochowa, Stefan Bareła, and solemnly consecrated on 9 November 2002 by Archbishop Stanisław Nowak.

Later and today

In 2010-2011 the church was renovated, including a new sheet-metal roof. A parish cemetery lies by the church.
