Evangelical-Augsburg church in Gliwice on ulica Jagiellońska, consecrated in 1902.
The Church of the Saviour belongs to the Evangelical-Augsburg parish in Gliwice. It stands on ulica Jagiellońska, on the Baildon estate.
Construction began in 1900, and in September 1902 the church was consecrated. In 1945 the Lutherans lost their house of prayer, because the church was taken over by the Pallottine order. After efforts by the parish, the order returned the building in 1948. After renovation, a solemn service was held there on 16 October 1949, led by Bishop Jan Szeruda. In 2002 the church celebrated its centenary.
The centre of Gliwice is not far from here, including Villa Caro and the Municipal Palm House.
