Neo-Gothic Evangelical church in Pyskowice from 1894-1896, still in use.
The Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Pyskowice is a neo-Gothic Evangelical church from 1894-1896. It belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran parish in Pyskowice, in the Katowice Diocese of the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland.
The construction was led by the builder Theodor Schmitz. The foundation stone was laid in the summer of 1894, and the church was consecrated on 6 January 1897. In the same year two bells from a foundry in Bochum and an organ by Schlag und Söhne of Świdnica were bought.
It is a brick building on a rectangular plan, covered with a gabled tiled roof. It survived the Second World War undamaged, and the first postwar service was held on 17 March 1946.
