Classicist town hall from 1823, since 2003 the seat of the Municipal Museum and the PODcień gallery.
The town hall stands in the centre of Pyskowice and since 2003 has housed exhibitions on the history of the town and the region, that is the Municipal Museum. It is a Classicist building entered in the heritage register.
The town hall was built in 1823 as a three-storey brick building with a tiled roof. In 1866 the facade received new plaster, and a thorough renovation in 1913 covered the interiors and painting the facade yellow; the building was reopened on 13 November of that year. In the 1930s its demolition was planned to make way for a larger administrative centre, which the war prevented. In January 1945 it survived the entry of Soviet troops without damage. It was the seat of the town authorities until 1996.
Since 2003 the town hall has shown exhibitions devoted to the history of Pyskowice and its surroundings. It also houses the “PODcień” gallery with works by regional artists.
