A clearing on the summit of Lachów Groń (1,045 m) in the Żywiec-Orawa Beskids, a former mountain pasture with views of Babia Góra and Pilsko.
Hala Janoszkowa is a clearing on the summit and ridge of Lachów Groń (1,045 m) in the Żywiec-Orawa Beskids. It lies within the village of Koszarawa and offers a wide panorama.
To the south-east you can see the Babia Góra massif with Cyl, that is Little Babia Góra, and the Polica range, in which Okrąglica is easy to recognise by its relay tower. To the north-east you can see nearby Jałowiec, and to the south Pilsko.
Sheep were once grazed here, and the clearing had shepherds’ huts and traditional hut-based farming. Today grazing has been abandoned, so the clearing is being overgrown with bilberry heath and forest. One hut remains, and under a large spruce there is a small spring.
