A disused quarry of Jurassic limestone with ammonites and belemnites in a forest near Jaroszów, with two overgrown pits.
The disused quarry in Jaroszów lies in a forest, about 320 metres north of the road from Jaroszów to Przybynów, in Żarki municipality on the Częstochowa Upland.
Late Jurassic limestone was quarried here, containing numerous ammonite and belemnite fossils. The stone was used for building in nearby villages. Two pits from that period have survived, now overgrown with forest.
