A Lutheran church of 1984-1989 and a short history of Protestants in Pierściec from the 17th century.
The Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession (Lutheran) in Pierściec belongs to the parish in Skoczów. The present building was constructed in 1984-1989 and consecrated on 15 October 1989 by Bishop Janusz Narzyński.
The first Protestant chapel burned down on 28 October 1616. A new church was built in 1618 on the site of today's Catholic cemetery and operated until it was taken away in 1654. After 1718 the Lutherans met in secret in houses and forest churches, and afterwards went to the church in Drogomyśl. In 1865 Pierściec was joined to the parish in Skoczów. A cemetery chapel from 1914 was pulled down after 1994.
Close by stands the Church of Reconciliation in Wieszczęta, and in Skoczów the Gustaw Morcinek Museum.
