A church from the early 1980s, initially a chapel of the Radziechowy parish, since 2013 the seat of its own parish.
The Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Przybędza, part of Radziechowy in Żywiec County, was built in the early 1980s. At first it served as a chapel of the Radziechowy parish, and since 26 August 2013 it has been a parish church.
The building was blessed on 26 August 1983. For thirty years the church belonged to the parish in Radziechowy and had the status of a chapel. By a decision of Bishop Tadeusz Rakoczy in 2013 it received the title of a parish church and became the seat of a parish dedicated to Our Lady of Częstochowa. That is why both forms, chapel and church, are found in the name of the building.
From Przybędza it is close to the Golgotha of the Beskids and to the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Węgierska Górka. Further away lies Żywiec with the Żywiec Brewery Museum.
