LKS Klimczok Ski Jumping Complex (HS-31, HS-19)

Bielsko-Biała
About LKS Klimczok Ski Jumping Complex (HS-31, HS-19)

Two plastic-surface ski jumps, HS-31 and HS-19, of the LKS Klimczok club, opened in 2010 in Bystra.

The LKS Klimczok ski jumping complex consists of two ski jumps side by side: HS-31 (construction point K27) and HS-19 (K18). Administratively they lie in Bielsko-Biała and Bystra, on land leased by the Wilkowice municipality. They are managed by GOSiR Wilkowice (the municipal sports and recreation centre) and used by the LKS Klimczok club from Bystra.

Construction and equipment

The jumps were built in 2009-2010 and opened in September 2010. Both are covered with plastic matting, so jumping is also possible outside the winter season. The facilities meet FIS requirements, the landing slopes join one another, and beside the jumps stands a judges' tower for five people. A third jump, HS-60, was planned.

Nearby

The Silesian Beskids lie next door: the Kozia Góra Mountain Hut is 2 km away, and the larger ski jumping complex in Skalite about 6 km.

Practical information

  • Location: Bystra, Bielsko-Biała, near Wilkowice.
