A Lutheran chapel from 1910, built by the efforts of parishioners, with a cemetery in Krasna.
The Lutheran chapel in Cieszyn-Krasna is a place of worship of the Lutheran (Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession) Parish in Cieszyn, brought into use in 1910. It was built mainly through the efforts of the parishioners themselves, who fired bricks for their own needs.
The reason for building was the distance from the Jesus Church in Cieszyn and its churchyard cemetery, which made funerals difficult. The plans were discussed at a parish meeting on 5 April 1908. Jan Mendrok donated the land, and the rest was covered by contributions from the faithful. The chapel was topped by a tower with two bells weighing 400 and 250 kg, which were requisitioned and melted down for cannon balls during the First World War.
The centre of Cieszyn with the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary is nearby.
