A red PTTK trail from Giszowiec through the Murcki Valley and Murcki Forest to Mysłowice.
The Marian Kantor-Mirski Trail is a red waymarked hiking trail in the Silesian Voivodeship, leading from Giszowiec in Katowice to Mysłowice. It is maintained by the PTTK.
The trail begins in Giszowiec, next to the Barbara-Janina leisure centre by the Janina pond. It leads through the Murcki Valley (Dolinka Murckowska), the Murcki Forest nature reserve and Wesoła Fała to Mysłowice. The marks are a red stripe on a white background.
The patron of the trail is Marian Kantor-Mirski: a pre-war teacher, official, Legionnaire, journalist, researcher of the history of the Dąbrowa Basin and community activist, a captain of administration in the Polish Army. One of the trail's sights is the historic centre of Mysłowice.
