A wooden Mariavite church from 1917, the seat of the parish of St Paschal in Koziegłowy.
The wooden Mariavite church in Koziegłowy belongs to the parish of St Paschal of the Old Catholic Mariavite Church in Poland, in the Silesian-Łódź Diocese. It is a small church that is easy to tell apart from the surrounding Roman Catholic churches.
Construction was completed in 1917. The church is wooden, single-nave, of the hall type, with a porch and a separate sacristy. The roofs are covered with sheet metal, and above the front part of the nave rises a sheet-metal turret with a pyramidal helmet roof. Inside there is one altar. In 2016 the bishop blessed two new paintings here, of the patron of the parish and of St Maria Franciszka, and in 2017 a thorough renovation was carried out.
In Koziegłowy you can combine the visit with a look at Koziegłowy Castle, and in nearby Gniazdów lies a Mariavite cemetery.
