About Nowa Osada Ski Resort in Wisła

A ski resort in Wisła with a four-seat chairlift, two platter lifts, six runs and a bike park in summer.

The Nowa Osada Ski Resort is located in Wisła-Nowa Osada, in the Silesian Beskids, on the south-western slope of the hill of Wróblonka, an unremarkable rise on the slope of Czupel Wiślański (882 m above sea level). In winter a chairlift and lit runs operate here, and outside the season the resort's website also announces a bike park.

Lifts and runs

According to the description, the resort has three lifts: a four-seat Doppelmayr chairlift with a boarding conveyor, 960 m long with a vertical drop of 196 m, and two platter lifts, Krasnal (145 m) and Beskid (250 m), the latter managed by a different operator. Between the lifts run six ski runs: four blue, a red and a green, with lengths from 145 to 1300 m and an average gradient of 14 to 20 percent. The runs are lit, groomed and fitted with artificial snow.

History of the resort

The chairlift was put into operation before the 2009/2010 season. Previously a two-person T-bar lift ran on the route. Before the 2010/2011 season the main run was widened. Since the 2011/2012 season a shared ski pass, the Wiślański Pass, has been valid at six resorts (Nowa Osada, Cieńków, Stożek, Beskid, Klepki and Rowienki).

Facilities and summer

The resort has a ski school, a rental and service shop for winter equipment and free parking, and near the lower station stands the Beskidy Holiday Home. The resort's website also presents a bike park with several downhill trails, a bike rental and enduro training, as well as information on accommodation and catering. The website also shows images from cameras at the lower, middle and upper stations, as well as the weather and run conditions.
