A neo-Baroque palace from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries in the village of Rudnik, with a park, an annex and farm buildings.
The Palace in Rudnik is a former country residence in the village of Rudnik in Racibórz County, built at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Today it is in poor technical condition.
The palace has two storeys, is neo-Baroque, built on a rectangular plan and covered with a hipped roof. A two-storey projection topped with a triangular pediment juts out from the front, and in it is a cartouche with the coat of arms of the von Selchow family.
The complex includes a park, an annex and farm buildings, namely a distillery and a cowshed from the 19th century. The nearest palace described on the portal, the Palace in Strzybnik, lies about 1.6 km from Rudnik.
The caption of a 2021 photograph in the Wikimedia Commons collection says that the palace was then partly collapsed. The building is best viewed from the outside, and access to the interiors is worth checking before a visit.
