Park Leśny in Sosnowiec

Park Leśny ("Forest Park") is a small municipal park in the Niwka district of Sosnowiec, between Benedykta Dybowskiego, Szybowa and Kopalniana streets. It covers 3.87 ha.

What is here

In the park there is a jump park with nine trampolines, which came into being from an initiative submitted to the participatory budget. There is also a nature and education trail prepared by the organisation Przyroda dla Sosnowca: pillars of knowledge, information boards, a bird feeder, eleven nesting boxes and houses for insects, birds and small rodents.

Park Leśny gained the status of a municipal park by a resolution of the City Council of 18 December 2019.

Nearby

From Niwka it is not far to the Three Emperors' Corner, and in Mysłowice there is the Central Fire-fighting Museum.
