Small Poniwiec Mała Czantoria ski resort in Ustroń with a four-seat chairlift, a floodlit run and a nursery slope for children.
Poniwiec Mała Czantoria is a small ski resort in Ustroń, on the northern slope between Mała and Wielka Czantoria, about 3 km from the town centre. It operates on Akacjowa Street, next to the Poniwiec hotel.
The resort's main feature is a four-seat chairlift by the Swiss company Bartholet Maschinenbau AG, 800 m long and carrying up to 1500 people per hour. It was put into service at the end of 2013. Alongside the chairs runs a red run of medium difficulty, 900 m long. For beginners there is the Ośla Łączka nursery slope with a free T-bar lift 170 m long in the KIDS Park Poniwiec. The total length of the runs is 1.07 km. The slope is floodlit and has snowmaking, and there is also a snow park.
On site there are a food outlet, a viewing tower, an equipment rental and ski school, and a snowboard school. The resort belongs to the Wisła Skipass, a joint lift pass system of several resorts in the region. Nearby lie the Czantoria nature reserve and the summer toboggan run on Czantoria.
