A reinforced concrete arch bridge from 1931-1933 in Wisła Głębce, 122 metres long, listed in the heritage register.
The railway bridge in Wisła is a reinforced concrete arch viaduct over the valley of the Łabajów stream, in Wisła Głębce. It is 122 metres long with seven spans, and its tallest piers rise to 25 metres. It is one of the highest railway viaducts in Poland.
The viaduct was built in 1931-1933 on the mountain railway line running from Goleszów to Wisła. The construction was carried out by the firm of Ksawery Goryanowicz. The design was prepared by the engineers Stanisław Saski and Tadeusz Mejer, the reinforced concrete work was supervised by Jan Gustaw Grycz, and the site manager was Karol Grelowski. The structure is single-track.
The bridge was entered in the heritage register of the Silesian Voivodeship on 5 April 2024. It is one of the technical monuments of which the region has no shortage, and the one in Głębce stands out for the height of its piers.
Closest, less than a kilometre from here, stands the Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross in Wisła. Mountain lovers can reach from here the PTTK Stożek mountain hut, and in winter the nearby slopes are served by the Nowa Osada Ski Resort.
