Remains of the foundations of an early 20th-century hut that burned down in 1967, beside the blue trail in the Little Beskids.
The ruins of the "Widok na Tatry" mountain hut lie in the Little Beskids, at an altitude of about 900 metres, beside the blue trail between Magurka Wilkowicka and Czupel. Only remains of the foundations are left of the building today.
The wooden building with a veranda was built before 1914 by Karol Sikora of Łodygowice. It offered a view of the Tatras and Babia Góra. In 1914 it had two rooms with eight beds, and in the early 1930s four rooms with 14 beds and an attic for about 30 people. The sign was bilingual, "Schronisko - Schutzhaus - Widok na Tatry", to attract Polish and German tourists. A tourist station of the Polish Tatra Society was opened here on 25 February 1926. After the owner's death it was run by his wife Maria Sikora and her family. The phonograph was an attraction.
The hut burned down in 1967 and was not rebuilt. The foundations can be seen on a fenced plot by the trail; there are no interiors and nothing to tour, it is a place to stop during a hike.
