A gallery in a Katowice tenement house, run by the architects' association, with exhibitions and a lecture series on architecture.
The SARP Architecture Gallery is an art gallery at Dyrekcyjna 9 in the Katowice city centre, in a historic tenement house. It belongs to the Association of Polish Architects (SARP), Katowice branch. It shows graphics, drawing, installations and exhibitions devoted to architecture.
The gallery organises the lecture series “Masters of Architecture”, curated by the architect Wojciech Małecki. The architect Tomasz Konior is named among its founders. Exhibitions change, so check the current programme on the association's website, sarp.katowice.pl.
The gallery is right in the centre, next to the Stanisław Wyspiański Silesian Theatre. Not far away stands the Katowice History Museum, so a visit is easy to combine with a walk around the city centre.
