A small wooden church from 1653 in Lubliniec, on the Wooden Architecture Trail of the Silesian Voivodeship.
St Anne's Church in Lubliniec is a small wooden branch church belonging to the parish of St Nicholas. It was built in 1653 with funds from Andrzej Cellari and entered in the heritage register. The building is part of the Wooden Architecture Trail of the Silesian Voivodeship.
The church is oriented, built of logs, with a three-sided end at the east and a rectangular sacristy. The roof is covered with shingles, and above it rises a hexagonal turret for the sanctus bell with a lantern. The furnishings of the interior are Baroque. The church was renovated in 1754, and most recently in 1999-2001, when the building was moved slightly.
The church lies in the centre of Lubliniec, right beside the town's other churches: St Nicholas' Church and the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Lubliniec Castle also stands nearby.
