A wooden branch church from 1631, on the wooden architecture trail of the Silesian Voivodeship.
The wooden branch church in Cynków stands about a kilometre north of the village, in the Koziegłowy municipality. Construction was completed in 1631, and the builder was Walenty Ruray of Pyskowice, whose name is recorded on the door lintels.
The walls were raised in post-and-plank construction and covered with shingles. The church has a single nave on a plan close to a square and a narrower chancel closed on three sides, with a sacristy on the north. A western porch was probably added in the 19th century. Above the nave rises a hexagonal turret for the sanctus bell with a lantern and spire, and the roofs are gabled and shingled. Inside there are flat ceilings and a music gallery supported on two posts. A thorough restoration was carried out in 1951-1958, and in 1957 the altars and the gallery were renewed.
The church lies on the wooden architecture trail of the Silesian Voivodeship. Nearby are, among others, Koziegłowy Castle and the palace in Czarny Las.
