A dry toboggan run, "Sunny Glade under Dębowiec", in Bielsko-Biała, 410 m long with three tunnels.
The toboggan run on the slope of Dębowiec in Bielsko-Biała is a dry recreational run known as "Sunny Glade under Dębowiec" (Słoneczna polana pod Dębowcem). It has operated since 2001 on a hill in the Silesian Beskids, within the city limits.
The run is 410 m long, with three tunnels and three full bends. A 115-metre lift takes the tobogganers to the top, and the run itself is lit. Dębowiec is 536 m above sea level and lies within the boundaries of Bielsko-Biała.
Right next to it is the Bielsko-Biała Recreation and Ski Centre Dębowiec, opened on 18 January 2013. It has a 600-metre chairlift, a children's lift, a training slope with artificial snow and lighting, a snow park, a climbing wall, an outdoor gym, a playground, an educational trail and a car park for 110 cars.
At the edge of the glade stands a large boulder called the Senior's Stone, erected in 1864 in memory of Pastor Józef Schimko, who died suddenly at this spot in 1858.
