A small park in Sosnowiec-Klimontów with a shrine from 1746 shaped like a bastion tower and two trees recognised as natural monuments.
Wanda Malczewska Park is a small municipal park in the Sosnowiec district of Klimontów, at the junction of Mjr. Henryka Hubala-Dobrzańskiego and Gabrieli Zapolskiej streets. The oldest element is the shrine of Our Lady from 1746.
The shrine has the shape of a round bastion tower. It originally belonged to the grounds of the Mieroszewski manor house, which stood nearby until the 1950s.
The park contains, among others, black poplar, European ash, silver maple, white willow and hornbeam. The white willow and the hornbeam are natural monuments. In the neighbourhood a historic workers' estate with stone and brick buildings has survived.
