Wesoła Fala Trail

The Wesoła Fala Trail is a green, waymarked hiking trail about 2.7 km long, which links two trail junctions in Katowice: Dolinka Murckowska in Murcki and the Wesoła Fala centre. Its end lies in Mysłowice-Wesoła.

Route and waymarking

The route starts in Dolinka Murckowska and ends at the Wesoła Fala centre. The markings are a green stripe on a white background, and the trail is looked after by PTTK. The short section can be walked as a stroll or treated as a link between larger routes, since both ends are trail junctions.

Views along the way

The trail has two viewpoints: a panorama over the water reservoir on the Przyrwa and a view of the nearby Kosztowy radio mast. Before setting out it is worth checking the walking time and the current state of the waymarking on a tourist map.

Near the start of the trail lies the Las Murckowski nature reserve, and in Murcki itself Murcki Park.
