Wygoda Park in Sosnowiec

Wygoda Park lies in Sosnowiec's Modrzejów district, on ul. Powstańców. It covers about 3.3 ha and is a municipal park.

Status and area

The City Council designated the park a municipal park by a resolution of 31 January 2019. The official area is 3.3 ha, although reports from 2018-2019 gave 3.4 ha, and the 2030+ Strategy about 3.2 ha.

Facilities and surroundings

In 2017 the park had gazebos, a playground and an outdoor gym. The park adjoins a pine forest in which lie the Rybaczówka angling centre and two bodies of water: Wygoda and Mała Wygoda. Other Sosnowiec parks include, for example, Dietel Park.
