Zagórski Forest Trail

The Zagórski Forest Cycle Trail (route no. 467) lies entirely in Sosnowiec, in the Zagórze and Morze Czarne districts. It is 5.4 km long and marked in blue. It follows mainly forest roads through the Zagórski Forest, a remnant of the Pakosznica primeval forest.

Route

The route starts on Braci Mieroszewskich Street, near Kępa Park, and runs along Modrzewiowa Street, then along a forest road by the Mortimerowski Ditch, under the S1 expressway. It then leads along Nowa, Armii Krajowej and Brunona Jasińskiego streets to Jacek Kuroń Park in Kazimierz. Remains of the German B2 line of fortifications from the Second World War have survived in the forest. The trail joins the Black Sea Cycle Trail, which leads from the Three Emperors' Corner.

• Surface: 37% unpaved forest roads, 30% paved forest roads, 33% streets and paved roads.
• The elevation gain is about 57 m.
