Events in Cieszyn: plays in the historic Adam Mickiewicz Theatre, events at the Dom Narodowy, cabaret and concerts. Pick a day.
Cieszyn has just under thirty events in the calendar and a clear majority of theatre. Cabaret and concerts have a few entries each.
The first address is the Adam Mickiewicz Theatre at Plac Teatralny 1. Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer, a Vienna duo of theatre architects, drew up the plans for the house, which dates from 1910. It holds six hundred and thirty seats, stands in the monuments register and is a stop on the European Route of Historic Theatres, a network of old theatres. A theatre with the same patron also exists in Częstochowa, so check the town on the listing.
A few entries concern the Cieszyński Ośrodek Kultury Dom Narodowy, and a single one the Jogaland yoga studio. The calendar says little about these two places, so you learn the programme from the event description. Plays are gathered under theatre in Cieszyn, and everything on the page of events in Cieszyn.
It is worth beginning the day with the sights of Cieszyn and the article about the town divided by the Olza.
Yes, but a few entries each. You will find the categories in the calendar, where theatre clearly prevails.
