The Dębowa Góra nature reserve protects a fragment of old oak-hornbeam forest in Kłobuck, about 2 km south of the town centre. It covers 5.43 hectares and was established in 1953.
The subject of protection is forest communities, a remnant of the original oak-hornbeam forests. The tree stand consists of pedunculate oaks aged from 140 to 200 years, with an admixture of fir, spruce and beech. The forest floor is home to snowdrop, mezereon, common ivy, asarabacca, oxlip, lily of the valley and sweet woodruff. Among animals, the lesser stag beetle and the wrinkled ground beetle are mentioned.
