Esta Contemporary Art Gallery

The Esta Contemporary Art Gallery is a private gallery in Gliwice at ul. Raciborska 8, founded in 1998. It specialises in computer graphics, but also exhibits drawing and painting.

What it is known for

It began its activity with a presentation of the computer graphics of Krzysztof Kiwerski. The following year the computer graphics of Zdzisław Beksiński were shown here for the first time, and the gallery has exclusive rights to present his graphic work. This is the main reason to know of it if you are interested in this artist.

Who has exhibited here

Besides graphics, drawings and paintings have been shown here. Among the artists who have exhibited in the gallery are, among others, Jan Tarasin, Stanisław Fijałkowski and Jerzy Nowosielski.

Nearby

The gallery lies in the centre, right next to Villa Caro, and a few dozen metres further stands the Piast Castle.
