Small ski station below the summit of Jastrzębica (758 m above sea level) with a black run with FIS homologation and two red runs, 3 km of runs in all.
Jastrzębica SKI is a small ski station below the summit of Jastrzębica (758 m above sea level), at the meeting point of Juszczyna, Przyłęków and Sopotnia Mała. The station building stands in Juszczyna, and the resort was created on the site of a former lift by the guesthouse Piast, which no longer exists.
Three runs are available: one black, regarded as very difficult, and two red. The black run runs alongside the lift, is 1.15 km long and has FIS homologation, and all the runs together total 3 km. The lift is a two-seat drag lift, 700 m long, with a vertical drop of 200 m and a capacity of up to 700 people per hour. For children there is also a conveyor-belt lift.
The slopes have artificial snow, floodlighting and grooming. On site there are an equipment rental shop and a ski school, and nearby stand a hotel with 24 rooms and an apartment building.
The official opening of the station in its present form took place on 8 January 2016.
In the area it is worth looking at the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Juszczyna and the Grojec hill with its castle.
