Kubalonka

On the Kubalonka pass there is a complex of cross-country ski trails 2.5 km, 3 km, 5 km and 7.5 km long. It is managed by the Szczyrk Centre of Sport (COS).

What trails are there on Kubalonka?

The complex consists of four loops of different lengths, marked in colours: red, blue, green and yellow. The trails are prepared using a snowmaking system, and the two-kilometre loop has professional floodlighting.

What else is there by the trails?

By the trails there is a modernised biathlon range, adapted to the requirements of the International Biathlon Union. Besides competitions, amateur events can also be organised here. The modernisation of the trails was co-funded by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.

Practical information

• The trails are for cross-country skiing, so they are used in winter. Current trail conditions, rules and maps are on the COS Szczyrk website.
• Kubalonka lies in the municipality of Wisła. For downhill skiers there is the Nowa Osada ski resort in Wisła nearby.
