Marek Perepeczko Bench in Częstochowa

The Marek Perepeczko Bench is a bronze sculpture showing the actor sitting on a park bench. It stands in Częstochowa on aleja Najświętszej Maryi Panny and was unveiled on 31 October 2014.

The sculpture and its author

The author of the monument is the sculptor Wojciech Pondel. The figure of the actor sits on a park bench. An information plaque is placed next to it. The unveiling was performed by the actor's wife Agnieszka Fitkau-Perepeczko, Andrzej Kalinin and the mayor of the city.

Neighbours on the avenue

The bench is near the Museum of Pilgrimage, opposite the Halina Poświatowska bench. It is about a kilometre from Jasna Góra and very close to the Częstochowa Museum.
