A museum devoted to the 1990s in Poland, with nine exhibition sections, including a period flat and retro games.
The Museum of the 90s in Bielsko-Biała is devoted to the 1990s in Poland. Its creators call it a time machine in the city centre: from collectible stickers from crisp packets to a fully furnished flat from that decade. The venue was established in 2025.
According to the museum's website the exhibition consists of nine parts. These are a collection of objects from the 1990s, fashion of the period, electronics, retro games, a period flat, a cassette rental shop, motorcycles, the world of children, and a part devoted to memories.
The layout of the exhibition lets you look at everyday objects that today end up in collections: equipment, clothes, toys and games. The 1990s flat shows what the interior of a typical home looked like at the time.
The museum's website encourages online booking. Entry without a booking is possible if places are available, and the number of visitors is limited. Payment is accepted in cash only, and purchased tickets cannot be refunded or moved to another date. Separate rules apply to groups of 10 or more. Check current conditions and opening hours on the museum's website before your visit.
The museum lies not far from the centre, about 1.4 km from the Castle of the Sułkowski Dukes, a historic building in the town centre.
After the visit you can walk towards the Reksio monument, a hero of Bielsko cartoons, which can be seen in the open air.
