City park of 41.23 ha in Częstochowa with three reservoirs, a beach, a water equipment rental and a rope park.
Lisiniec Park, also called the Lisiniec Park (Park Lisiniecki), is a city park in Częstochowa's Lisiniec district, laid out in the 1970s. It covers 41.23 ha, and its main axis is formed by three bodies of water with a total area of 11 ha.
The reservoirs came about when clay pits, which local people used until the 1970s, were flooded. By custom they are called Adriatyk, Bałtyk and Pacyfik. The park belongs to the city, which once planned a recreation centre with an aqua park here. Today Częstochowa has the Częstochowa Water Park.
In the park there is a bathing area with a base of the Water Volunteer Rescue Service, a tennis court and a rope park. Since 2015 a rental of water equipment run by MOSiR (the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre) has been operating. There is also a beach by the Adriatyk reservoir, a skate park and a children's playground.
Revitalisation began in 2013: greenery was tidied, walking paths were built and benches were installed. In 2018-2019 the beach was enlarged, and jetties, a footbridge over the canal linking the Adriatyk and Bałtyk reservoirs, a lifeguard tower, cycle paths and a beach pavilion with a viewing terrace, a bar and a restaurant were built. New shrubs and more than a hundred trees were planted, mainly the Japanese cherry “Kikushidare-zakura”.
