A yellow walking trail from 1985, about 85 km long, linking the sites of former Polish minority schools between Rakowiec and Bierawa.
The Polish Minority Schools Trail (Szlak im. Polskich Szkół Mniejszościowych) is a yellow marked walking trail in the Silesian Voivodeship, laid out in 1985. Its route is defined by the places where Polish minority schools operated in Germany in the interwar period.
The trail runs from the state border at Rakowiec, through Chałupki, Tworków, Racibórz, Markowice and Łęg, to the railway station in Bierawa. The route is about 85 km long and also passes through part of the Opole Voivodeship. The marking is a yellow stripe on a white field, and the trail is looked after by PTTK (Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society).
Near Racibórz the trail passes close to Racibórz Castle, and the Moravian Gate Arboretum also lies not far from the route. This makes it easy to combine the urban stretch with sightseeing in the town.
