A private mountain tourist station on the Słowianka meadow (856 m above sea level) in the Żywiec Beskids, above Żabnica, with 24 beds.
The “Słowianka” mountain tourist station (Stacja Turystyczna Słowianka) is a private facility in the Żywiec Beskids, in the Romanka massif, on the Słowianka mountain meadow. It lies at an altitude of 856 m above sea level above the village of Żabnica. It is housed in a two-storey wooden building.
The station has 24 beds, a communal kitchen and full sanitary facilities. There is a grocery shop in the building, which also serves hot drinks. The place is a good viewpoint towards Romanka, the Pawlusia meadow and Rysianka.
Three hiking trails pass through the Słowianka meadow. The red one, the Main Beskid Trail, runs from Węgierska Górka via Abrahamów, the Słowianka meadow and the Pawlusia meadow to the Rysianka meadow. The blue one leads from Bystra via Lachowe Młaki, the Słowianka meadow, Romanka and Kotarnica to Sopotnia Mała. The black one links Żabnica Skałka with the Słowianka meadow. There are also a cycling route Żabnica - Słowianka meadow - Cięcina - Żabnica and a ski route from Cięcina via Magura and Skała to Słowianka.
On the same red trail lies the Abrahamów Tourist Station, about 1.4 km from Słowianka. In the other direction the trail leads to the Rysianka meadow, where the PTTK mountain hut stands.
Nearby rise Romanka, about 2.8 km from the station, and Rysianka, about 4.8 km.
