A Baroque church from 1670, founded by the Kawiecki family together with an almshouse, with a main altar holding a painting of St Barbara.
St Barbara's Church in Koziegłowy is a Baroque church from the 17th century, built together with an almshouse for the poor. It is entered in the heritage register and serves as a branch church of the parish of St Mary Magdalene.
The church was founded together with the almshouse by Stanisław Kawiecki and his wife Barbara née Przerębska. In 1670 the prebend of St Barbara was established, and the church was consecrated in the same year by Mikołaj Oborski, auxiliary bishop of Kraków. The church was later enlarged with part of the former hospital on the south side: that part became the nave, and the original church the chancel. In 1994 the building was thoroughly renovated and the whole complex was fenced.
The interior is covered by a barrel vault, and the choir gallery rests on two fluted columns. On the roof rises a Baroque turret for a bell. The richly gilded main altar, in a frame of four columns, holds a painting of St Barbara. The church has three altars. The patron saint's feast is celebrated on 4 December.
In Koziegłowy itself there are also the parish Church of St Mary Magdalene and Corpus Christi and the Mariavite church. It is less than a kilometre to Koziegłowy Castle.
