Agritourism educational farm near Częstochowa with animals, workshops and a fir forest, for groups and individual visitors.
The Stefanówka Educational Farm is an agritourism farm in Nowa Szarlejka in the Wręczyca Wielka municipality, surrounded by fields and forests. According to the farm's website it lies about 7 km from the centre of Częstochowa and 15 km from Kłobuck.
The farm is home to Welsh ponies, Polish ponies (konik), Shetland ponies, goats, sheep, rabbits, alpacas, a red cow and farmyard poultry. Guests have at their disposal a fenced private fir forest, a wooden gazebo, a place for a campfire and barbecue, an educational garden, a playground and free parking. The site operates all year round.
The farm belongs to the Polish Network of Educational Farms and is a co-founder of the Association of Educational Farms of the Silesian Voivodeship. A school group visit lasts about three hours: a short presentation, a workshop matched to the age group (from village heritage and handicraft to forest and environmental education) and a meeting with the animals. Workshops take place regardless of the weather. One of them is "Magic Candles", which begins with the history of the candle and a demonstration of handmade candles.
The farm welcomes groups as well as individual visitors, for example for weekend workshops, children's birthdays or campfires. There is also overnight accommodation and a camping field. From the farm it is close to Jasna Góra (about 4.5 km).
