A six-span stone railway bridge from 1848, a former border bridge of the Warsaw-Vienna Railway.
The railway bridge over the Biała Przemsza near Maczki is a stone bridge with six spans and a length of 70 metres, opened in 1848. It stands on the border between Jaworzno and Sosnowiec, and railway line no. 133 passes over it.
The bridge lies just beyond Sosnowiec Maczki station, which was originally called Granica (Border). It was the last station of the Warsaw-Vienna Railway on the territory of the Congress Kingdom. The bridge thus joined the Congress Kingdom in the Russian Empire with the Austrian Empire and served as a border bridge.
In 1867 this border became the border between the Russian Empire and Austria-Hungary. During the First World War it was abolished.
On the Sosnowiec side, about 400 metres away, stands the Church of Sts Peter and Paul in Sosnowiec. A little further on lies the Bory peat bog.
