A hut from 1937 on the ridge of the Silesian Beskids that no longer exists; remains of foundations lie by the yellow trail.
A mountain hut once stood on the Trzy Kopce ridge in the Silesian Beskids, at an altitude of about 1,080 metres, near the Trzy Kopce summit. Today the building is gone, and remains of foundations are left in the terrain.
Permission to open the hut was issued on 29 April 1937. It was built and run by Robert Urbanke of Wilkowice and his wife Aniela, on leased land belonging to a baron. The three-storey building had 35 beds: 20 in bedsteads and 15 on straw mattresses. In 1938 the Polish Tatra Society opened its fourth station here.
During the war the hut was visited by Polish skiers and by forced labourers from the nearby IG Farben plants. In February 1944 a secret Silesian skiing championship was held here, won by Józef Jurzak. The building was destroyed in 1945, and the ruins were pulled down after 1949.
