What to see in Silesia? Three long routes: the Main Beskid Trail, the Little Beskid Trail and the Greenways cycle route via Bielsko-Biała and Cieszyn.
These routes have no single address, because they run through many places in the Silesian Voivodeship. Two are mountain hiking trails and one is a cycle route. You will find more mountain routes in the category Góry: Śląsk.
Which trail introduces you to the Beskids?
The Main Beskid Trail is a red hiking trail about 496 kilometres long, regarded as the longest in the Polish mountains. Its official starting point is in Ustroń, so the Silesian section leads through the Silesian and Żywiec Beskids.
The Little Beskid Trail is 137 kilometres long and also red. It begins at Straconka in Bielsko-Biała and ends on Luboń Wielki in the Beskid Wyspowy range. It covers ground the Main Trail avoids: it runs through the Little, Makowski and Wyspowy Beskids.
Where can you cycle in Silesia?
Greenways Kraków - Moravia - Vienna (Silesian Section) is an international cycle route about 780 kilometres long. In the Silesian Voivodeship it passes through Bielsko-Biała, Ustroń, Wisła, Skoczów and Cieszyn, where it crosses the Czech border on the Friendship Bridge.
