Things to do in Międzybrodzie Bialskie: Lake Międzybrodzie, the Hrobacza Łąka house and the ruins of a tourist station in the Little Beskids.

Set in the Żywiec county, Międzybrodzie Bialskie stretches beside the Soła beneath the Little Beskids. Its three places combine water and mountains, and two of them recall early tourism on Magurka Wilkowicka.

What to see in Międzybrodzie Bialskie by the water and in the hills

Lake Międzybrodzie is a reservoir on the Soła that appeared in 1937 after the Porąbka dam was built. It is about 5 km long, covers 3.8 km² and holds 26.6 million m³ of water. It was built for flood protection and today also serves recreation, with holiday villages around it.

The Hrobacza Łąka Tourist and Retreat House stands below the summit of Chrobacza Łąka and is also known as the hut on Chrobacza Łąka. The building went up in the 1930s as a private investment, has been run by a foundation since 1991 and is being rebuilt after a fire in 2017. Higher up, on Magurka Wilkowicka at about 909 m above sea level, lie the ruins of Robert Urbanke's tourist station.
