Korbielów sits beneath Pilsko, in the Żywiec Beskids. For someone travelling alone it makes a good base: trails lead into the mountains, and a museum in the village waits for a rainy day.
The PTTK hut on Hala Miziowa stands on the slopes of Pilsko and offers rooms and a restaurant. The Main Beskid Trail runs beside it, and a mountain rescue (GOPR) post operates nearby. It is a convenient goal for a hiker who does not want to be entirely alone on the trail.
