Parks and nature in Lipie are three reserves in the Lipie commune: Szachownica with a cave, Bukowa Góra and the forest Stawiska with monumental oaks.
The Lipie commune lies in Kłobuck county, and all three reserves lie near the Załęcze Landscape Park. None needs a ticket, and they suit people looking for quiet and woodland nature.
Szachownica is a reserve of inanimate nature, 12.7 ha in size. Created in 1978, it shields a limestone hill with acid beech woodland, Krzemienna Góra, and a cave where bats spend the winter. It sits in the buffer zone around the Załęcze Landscape Park.
The other two sanctuaries share a founding date, 5 May 1959. The smallest reserve in the entire voivodeship is Bukowa Góra, run by the Kłobuck Forest District, the only strict reserve inside the landscape park, with acid beech forest and a karst spring. In the wooded Stawiska near the village of Parzymiechy grow low hornbeam woods, alder-ash carr and 85 old oaks. More of the region's greenery is described in the category parks and nature in Silesia, and the remaining addresses in things to do in the Lipie commune.
Bukowa Góra holds that title in the whole voivodeship. It is a strict forest reserve with beech woods and a karst spring.
85 protected pedunculate oaks have been counted there.
