For couples in Lipowa: a mountain hut just below the Skrzyczne summit, the Malinowska Skała rock outcrop and the viewpoint ridges of the Silesian Beskids.

Lipowa lies in the Silesian Beskids, so an outing for two here means a trail, a mountain hut and a panorama. The three places complement each other: one for a rest or an overnight stay, one for a short stop by the rocks, and the third is the whole mountain range.

Where should two people go in Lipowa?

The PTTK Mountain Hut on Skrzyczne stands just below the summit at 1250 m above sea level. The first wooden building for 30 guests was put up here in 1933 by Rudolf Urbanke. A chairlift from Szczyrk also reaches the top, so the climb can be combined with a ride.

Malinowska Skała is a rock outcrop beside the trail, about 60 m north of the peak of the same name (1152 m). Shaped like a segmented pulpit, it has been a natural monument since 1977, and entry is free.

All of it sits within the Silesian Beskids, a range that straddles the Czech frontier. Skrzyczne (1257 m) is the highest summit, Barania Góra (1215 m) comes next and gives the Vistula its source. There are also huts on Błatnia and Klimczok.

Romantic outings elsewhere in the region are suggested by the list for couples in Silesia, and the remaining spots of the village sit under Lipowa.
