The churches of Myszków lie in different districts: one in Mrzygłód, another in Mijaczów and a third closer to the centre. The route is for someone who enjoys hunting out architecture without hurry.
The oldest sacred building in town is the Shrine of Our Lady of Mrzygłód (Królowej Jadwigi street 15). In 1683 Stanisław Warszycki, the Kraków castellan, took up the foundation, putting a masonry church where a timber one had stood. The body shows a blend of Renaissance and Baroque, and a Rosary chapel joins it on the north side. The rank of shrine came in 1986.
In Mijaczów, on Pułaski street, stands the Chapel of the Nativity of Jesus. It began as a room in the palace of Joachim Borowski (it already existed there in 1790), and since 1911 it has served a parish; it is entered in the monuments register. The neo-Gothic red-brick St Stanislaus church was started in 1907 under the engineer Wiktor Filipczyński. Building stopped when shafts of an old iron-ore mine turned up, and the tower was heightened in 1926. The remaining addresses are described in things to do in Myszków, and churches from other parts of the region sit in the category churches and monasteries in Silesia.
