Parks and nature in Soblówka: three Żywiec Beskids reserves, Muńcoł, Dziobaki and Oszast, protecting beech forests and primeval woodland.
All three lie within the Żywiec Landscape Park and concern mountain forests. They suit those who look for quiet and woodland.
Muńcoł Reserve covers 45.20 hectares and was created in 1998. It protects the largest site of the snowdrop in the Żywiec district and a fertile Carpathian beech wood with bulbous corydalis, at 925 to 1120 metres above sea level.
Dziobaki Reserve covers 13.06 hectares on the north-western slope of Majcherowa and protects a well-formed Carpathian beech wood. It was created in 1995 and lies at 850 to 1020 metres, not far from Rycerka Górna.
Oszast Reserve lies by the Slovak border, on the slopes of Mount Oszus. It was established in 1971 and since 1998 has been a strict reserve of 46.27 hectares. It protects a beech and spruce forest, a fragment of the primeval Carpathian forest.
Above all the snowdrop, as well as a fertile beech wood with bulbous corydalis.
