Where to go in Wodzisław Śląski when it rains? To one of two indoor play centres for children or to the museum in the Dietrichstein Palace.
The three places for a rainy day are all near the market square, so it is easy to move from one to another. Two are for children, one for adults and older children.
The Dietrichstein Palace by the market square is a two-storey Classicist building from the early 1740s, raised on the site of a medieval castle. Since 1971 it has housed the Wodzisław Śląski Museum. The palace and the town are covered in an article on the Dietrichstein Palace and the Minorites.
Families with children have two play centres. Zoolandia, at Targowa 5 and a few dozen metres from the market square, has a three-level maze with slides, a room for toddlers and a café. Xtreme Kids, at Kolejowa 28 and under a kilometre from the square, takes children aged 0 to 12 and has climbing and jumping zones and a gym for children.
Zoolandia, a few dozen metres away. Xtreme Kids is under a kilometre from it.
Visit the museum in the Dietrichstein Palace. More ideas for bad weather are grouped in the category rainy day in Silesia.
