Rycerka Górna lies in the Żywiec Beskids. The three places are linked by trails leading towards Wielka Racza, so it is easy to string them into one route.
Around a thousand metres up, on a pass inside the Żywiec Landscape Park, sits the PTTK hut at Przegibek, where the paths to Rycerzowa and Wielka Racza begin. Higher up, right under the top of Wielka Racza at 1,236 metres, is the hut from 1934, a junction of the red and yellow routes and the Slovak green one.
Between them lies the Mała Racza meadow, once a pastoral clearing on the eastern slopes, stretching from a 1,153-metre ridge down into the valley of the Racza stream. It now serves as a lookout by the path to Wielka Racza. Together the huts and the meadow make an easy sequence: begin at Przegibek, pause on the meadow, end below the Wielka Racza summit.
