Solo in Blachownia means a reservoir on the Stradomka and three parish churches from the twentieth century: calm places to visit alone near Częstochowa.

All four places lie in one town, and each can be visited calmly without company.

What to see in Blachownia when you walk alone?

The Blachownia Reservoir, simply called the lake, is a retention reservoir on the Stradomka not far from the centre, and a very shallow one. It covers 47 hectares, holds about 0.5 million m³ of water and is at most about 2 m deep. For decades it has served residents as a place to relax by the water, and entry is free.

The three churches date from different decades of the twentieth century. The Church of Our Lady Queen of Poland and St Michael the Archangel on Sienkiewicza street was built of brick in 1924-1927. It has one tower with a dome and cross, and the high altar was funded by workers. Newer are the Church of the Most Holy Saviour, built in 1993-2000 beside the town cemetery, and the Church of St Francis of Assisi, raised in 1986-2000 and consecrated in 2000.
